On Labor Day in 2005 we celebrated our first year of business by welcoming David Mead to the Flying Otter Vineyard for a very special concert experience.  David has recently agreed to return to help us celebrate the growth of the vineyard and our 2008 harvest, and to share his musical talent with us as he embarks on a fall tour to introduce his latest CD, Almost And Always.  

This will be a very personal and cozy show and a chance to hear world class entertainment in an intimate and informal setting

An informal reception will precede the concert so we can get together to visit with old friends and welcome some new ones.  Complimentary light snacks, and there may even be some free wine tasting. Flying Otter is not yet a commercial winery, so we can't sell wine, but we are involved in researching that possibility for the future.

At the last show we did not charge a ticket price, but relied on contributions to reward David for entertaining us.  We will continue that tradition, and I'm sure our southeast Michigan hospitality will reflect our generosity and thanks.
